
Sportspower a popular manufacturer of trampoline expanded its recall of the Superpower Bounce 14′ Trampoline due to
certain hazards. According to reports the trampoline was recalled because of a netting issue, which could collapse allowing users to suffer injuries.
The trampoline net would become unsecured or fall apart upon use. As a result the user would hit the floor beneath them at extreme speeds/pressure causing significant injuries. This can include serious head injuries, broken leg, spine injuries and compression fractures.
Liability for defective products are imposed on manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers involved in the sale of the product. In such cases the manufacturer would be held responsible for the injuries caused by their product.
