Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research in the areas of personal injury and accident law to assist senior partners and attorneys in providing legal representation to clients. Review documents and information pertaining to clients’ cases and analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal sources to determine the probable outcome of cases and understand relevant legal issues. Prepare opinion letters and legal memoranda for review by the firm’s attorneys outlining the results of legal research and recommending strategies to provide effective legal representation. Assist attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, including reviewing legal documents and evidence, evaluating the ramifications of case developments, and performing ad-hoc legal analysis as needed. Review contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements drafted by legal assistants and provide analytical support to attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, court appearances, and trials. Maintain complete records of case documents and legal research and ensure information is organized, up-to-date, and readily available for review by attorneys, paralegals, and other support staff. Stay abreast of the latest developments in personal injury law to ensure accurate and effective legal analysis.

Requirements:

• The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies and two years of experience in the job offered or a related legal position.
• The position requires skills and knowledge in legal analysis, writing legal memorandums, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Position:

• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Wage: $115,690.00 – $120,000.00 per year.

• Supervise and manage plaintiff’s personal injury practice.
• Develop litigation strategies including discovery, deposition, arbitration, and jury trial.
