Position Overview:
Prominent plaintiff’s personal injury firm is looking for a civil litigator. Downtown LA Law Group represents seriously injured individuals including catastrophic injuries and wrongful death. Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for cases from filing to trial

Engaging settlement negotiations

Taking and Defending depositions

Motion practice and trial.

You will be tasked with developing case strategies and theories.

You will have access to paralegal and secretarial support, as well as law and motion assistance so that you can focus on strategy and litigation.
Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate degree and current good standing with CA State bar is required

FILE CLERK / LEGAL ASSISTANT
Busy Los Angeles law firm is looking for a full-time file clerk / legal assistant to work in our litigation department. Experience is not necessary, but applicant MUST be smart, organized and detail oriented. A positive attitude is also required.

- Assisting attorneys and support staff in various tasks
PERSONAL INJURY LITIGATION ATTORNEY
Impact:
As our PI Litigation Attorney, you will have the opportunity to fight for our clients and win the largest wrongful death, TBU, catastrophic injury, and major orthopedic settlements and verdicts achievable.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage plaintiff’s personal injury practice.
- Develop litigation strategies including discovery, deposition, arbitration, and jury trial.
- Draft internal memos, subpoenas and various discovery documents.
- Direct and determine all aspects of plaintiff litigation and resolution strategy.
- Respond to investigative subpoenas from U.S. government regulatory agencies requesting production of relevant client and third party material.
- Evaluate and analyze employee’s civil complaints and relate investigation documents to prepare litigation and discovery strategy in anticipation of trial.
- Research and communicate current and potential changes and issues with Medicare and Medicaid regulations to company departments.
- Perform research on client-specific questions regarding Medicare regulations, guidance and process.
