Two Teens Struck by a Hit and Run Driver in Van Nuys
The Los Angeles Police Department is on the lookout after two teenagers, one boy and one girl were violently struck early Tuesday morning in Van Nuys by a hit-and-run driver.
According to reports, the two middle-school students were walking to school to nearby Mulholland Middle School in Lake Balboa when they were hit. They were crossing along the crosswalk of Vanowen Street and Ranchito Avenue. The light had just turned in their favor when the small pickup truck ran a red light heading eastbound on Vanowen Street. The truck ceased to stop after hitting the children or provide any assistance.
