According to police investigators the bike rider was crashed into a large rock near Fremont California. The CHP received reports early Saturday morning of a downed cyclist close to the intersection of Palomares and Niles Canyon Road. According to news reports John was a seasoned rider and was planning on taking a bike ride with his buddies around 8:00 Am in the morning but because of the cold weather decided on riding a little bit later in the day.
