According to the San Gabriel Police Department, former Olympic Silver Medalist Danny Harris was apprehended Friday for being suspected of contacting a minor with the intent of committing a sexual offense. San Gabriel authorities said they launched a formal investigation following the alleged report of inappropriate contact between Harris and a student. The investigation is still ongoing. However, Harris could not be reached for a comment on the matter.
