Apollo Phantom Electric Scooters Class Action Lawsuit

On August 31, 2023, Apollo issued a recall for approximately 3,900 Phantom Electric Scooters. A bolt on the scooter may come loose and cause the suspension to separate from the wheel assembly. This can result in the rider falling off the scooter while it’s in use. Models included in the recalled are the Apollo Phantom V1, V2 and 60V Electric Scooters. The scooters were sold from June 2021 through May 2023 through the following sites: Apolloscooters.com, Adventuresportsusa.com, Allelectricmotion.com, Fluidfreeride.com, and Justride.com.

The company has already received several reports of the scooters falling apart and resulting in various injuries to the user. Apollo has asked consumers to stop using the product immediately and reach out to them for a free repair kit. As someone who sustained injuries from a recalled Apollo electric scooter, you may be eligible for an accident injury claim against the manufacturer. For more information on your right to sue for negligence by a product manufacturer, please take some to speak with a member of our legal team.

  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Facial injuries – broken nose, dislocated jaw, etc.

What to Do in the Event of an Accident

Here are the steps we recommend if you got hurt from falling off a recalled electric scooter by Phantom Electric. Taking these actions is the most effective way to protect your right to monetary compensation:

  • Document evidence of bodily harm by taking pictures of your injuries, the accident scene, and the defective product.
  • Get medical attention right away, as fall-related accidents can result in serious injuries.
  • Save all medical files, statements from witnesses, proof of lost wages, and other evidence in a safe place.
  • Report your accident to the company, but do not accept a free replacement part, refund, or any other remedy, as it can take away your right to sue the company.
  • Learn about your rights and legal options from a defective product recall lawyer.
