Crosman Icon Air Rifles Recall Class Action Lawsuit Lawyers

Crosman Icon Air Rifles Recall Class Action Lawsuit Lawyers sue compensation incident liability

On April 25, 2024, Crosman issued a product recall for their Crosman Icon Air Rifles. According to the recall (number 24-212), the uncocked and loaded air rifles can potentially discharge if they are jolted or dropped, resulting in an injury risk. The recall affects approximately 2,500 units.

The recall includes the .177 and .22 caliber air rifles; these are PCP-Powered Bolt-Actioned air rifles. The affected air rifles are associated with model numbers CPI77S and CPI22S; the model number can be found located on the left-hand side of the rifle. The model name can be found on the right-hand side of the rifle.

The company has received one report of an accidental discharge of the air rifle. The company states that there has been no injuries.

The Icon air rifles were available for purchase from March 2022 to March 2024; they were sold for about $310 each. The products were available in-store at Do It Best Hardware, Service Star, Sportsman’s Guide, and True Value locations across the county. They were also available online via Amazon.com, Crosman.com, and Pyramydair.com.

Crosman is urging all affected consumers to immediately stop using the recalled air rifles and contact them for a refund; they are offering store credit or a check after confirming the return.

If you or a member of your family suffered any injuries associated with an accidental discharge of a defective Crosman Icon Air Rifle, you might have the right to file a lawsuit under the concept of premise liability. Do not accept store credit, a refund, or to return the product under any circumstances; instead, reach out to a recall lawyer as soon as possible to explore the legal options available to you.
