Latest Information from the Accident Location: According to investigators and news reports the accident, which took place at the intersection of Emerson and Garfield avenues a few minutes after 3 p.m., involved an Alhambra Fire Department truck with a Monterey Park fire engine. The fire engine careened out of control and slammed into a Dumpling House restaurant on the corner. At least six individuals have been transported to L.A. County USC Medical Center.
