Valley High school Boiler Room Blast – Explosion Injures Students

According to news reports from local media and Santa Ana police and fire department authorities a gas line exploded in Valley High School in the morning resulting in injured to at least four students. Students transported local area hospitals complain of a los of hearing from the shock-wave of the explosions. According to authorities the explosion was caused by a malfunction with the gas line in the boiler room of the high school located at 1800 block of South Greenville Street. The time of the accident was 8:00 AM in the morning. According to Capt. Jon Muir of the Orange County Fire department the cause of the explosion has not been determined and is under investigation. Loss of Hearing – Tinnitus: Loss of hearing due to loud noises and shock wave from explosions often result in permanent hearing loss or impairment. Common sings of symptoms of tinnitus include,

• Buzzing Roaring or clicking
• Bleeding from the ear
• Nausea and vomiting
