2 Planes Crash in Calabasas and Westlake Village Golf Course 3-29-13
Two separate planes crashed just a few miles from each other in Los Angeles County Monday afternoon. Investigators are attempting to figure out whether the accidents was the result of a mid air collision between the two planes.
The first plane landed on a golf sours in Westlake Village resulting in three minor injuries to passengers and crew.
The second plane crash took place in the Mulholland drive area of the Santa Monica Mountains near Calabasas, resulting in a small brush fire. There do not seem to be any survivors from the second plane crash.
The news of a plane crash come only a few minutes after another plane crashed a few miles south into the Santa Monica Mountains near the community of Calabasas. There is no word from investigators as to whether the two plane crashes were somehow related. The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration spokesmen stated that they are, “working on the two possible airplane accidents.” Investigation for airplane accidents are handled by federal aviation authorities.
