Nerium Skin Cream Lawsuit – Class Action Claim Info

Nerium Skin Cream Lawsuit – Class Action Claim Info

Our firm is investigating claims against Nerium AD for false advertising of the popular skin care line. Additionally, we are investigating claims for potential side effects of the product causing allergic skin reactions. It has been alleged that the products do not deliver the results promised in certain before and after photos for the product.

If you were a consumer of the popular skin care line you may be entitled to receive compensation. It has been recently alleged in a separate lawsuit that the skin care line inappropriately used the name and likeness of an individual with celebrity standing to promote their product. According to this lawsuit the celebrity never endorsed or promoted the product in any manner. Our firm is currently investigating individual claims against the manufacturer for potential injuries sustained from the use of the product.

Skin Cream Injuries from Using Nerium

If you suffered a physical injury from the use of the product, you can pursue a claim for your damages. This type of case is considered or classified as a product defect case or a product liability case. In such matters it is the manufacturer who is considered liable for the injuries sustained by the user. This is very similar to a manufacturer who produces a defective product. In such cases the manufacturer is required to compensate injured parties or those who cannot use the product. Similarly, manufacturers of the aforementioned product will be required to do the same.

Liability for Injuries

A manufacturer will be liable for injuries suffered by users of the product. When a manufacturer produces a product that is defective, they will be liable for the injuries sustained by the end user. Manufacturers are generally insured and carry product liability insurance. Thus, when you file a claim an insurance company will be responsible for handling you claim and discussing your potential injuries.

False Advertising Lawsuit – Cause of Action Against Manufacturers of Nerium

When a product manufacturer makes certain allegations, which are not supported they can be liable for false advertising. With regards to Nerium AD lawsuit, our office is investigating whether before and after photos depicting the users where in fact accurate depictions. In cases where a manufacturer fails to accurately state the benefits of the product, it can potentially be liable for making false claims. An advertiser is required to truthfully display and demonstrate the benefit of the product. While many companies may have glossy photos and high resolution ads, they cannot willfully falsify an advertisement for the purposes of consumer deception.

Potential Claim Value – Compensation Available for Individuals

It is difficult at this stage to determine or asses case value. Case value will always depend on damages. If you suffered significant allergic reactions or if you have suffered other health related injuries ,the value of  your case will be more substantial. Clients who have not seen results even after using the product will have a different type of claim they can  pursue. This will generally, be considered less valuable then one where the client has an objective physical injury.

I was a Rep and User of the product but since it destroyed skin, I was unable to sell it or continue using it. I signed my father on and he too had the same reactions to the serum.

I am glad I decided to research this issue today!

Thank you,

I used the product for approximately six weeks. During that time I developed a shortness of breath, lack of energy , heart issues which sent me to my MD. My heart rate had dropped to 42 beats per minute. More test by the cardiologist. I was afraid to fall asleep for fear I would not wake up. By a fluke I was researching the Oleander plant and discovered it’s cardio glycoside properties. I stopped using the product immediately. Over a three to four week period my symptoms disappeared. The company claims it does not cross the skin barrier, however, cardio glycosides are slow accumulating. If research was not conducted for at least 6-8 weeks the results would prove in their favor. Most will not correlate face cream and heart failure. It’s claims are great but the side effects are killer.

Used for 3 1/2 weeks. Suffered cardiac issues for that time. Admitted to hospital for it. Stopped using product and cardiac issues stopped.

Tried a sample of Nerium last night. Woke up this morning in severe pain. I had applied product as directed and rinsed it off in the morning. What I thought was an allergic reaction bubbled into large, seeping blisters and what appears to be chemical burns on my nose. I’ve spent the day treating my face with burn ointments and cold compresses and it has partially peeled down to raw flesh and is swollen and very painful. I have to fly out tomorrow for a vacation and am very upset.

I used this product for almost a year. I have photos of my initial application…horribly red blotchy skin. But I wanted to believe the hype…I tried and tried…using the product and selling it.. It turned in to the worst year of my life. Several doc visits to cure the demise of my skin and emotional stability (developed uncharacteristic to myself, anxiety).

i have been using for over one year and have NOT experienced any of the side affects mentioned nor any other. The product works as advertised I have seen it with my own eyes and experience. It works better for some than others but it works!

I have been using Nerium for over 2 years with no problems. I have many amazing before and after pictures including my skin……these pictures i personally took or know the petson. The product works just
like it says it does. I love what it has done for my skin . I do know that once in a very great while I’ll find a person who is allergic to Oleander or Aloe and they cannot use the product but this is of no fault of the Nerium. I stand by the company and product.

The Better Business Bureau of Addison Texas gives Nerium International an A plus rating…lowest number of complaints most satisfied customers. I have been using for a year and I love my results. It may not be for everyone!

i’ve used Nerium for two years and have never had the far out symptoms described in other’s comments. My skin is in a much more youthful state. And no, I am not a rep selling the product.

i am an Skin Therapist and have been approached by many to start using this product. I did my research first (as I always do) before putting anything on my face and client’s and found out the Nerium plant is poisonous affecting the heart and nervous system. If it really does get rid of wrinkles is because it penetrates the skin paralyzing the nervous system. Why will it not travel deeper with long use affecting heart and other organs?

Reply

Any skin product that offers miracle results on all skin types is bogus. It used to be that Snake Oil salesmen used to have to travel from town to town. We now have to deal with the snake oil being sold at the speed of Internet. Stay away from miracle cure alls and the salespersons who hock it.

When you are the number one anti aging company people get jealous and want to tear you down.
I have used Nerium for two years and in only 90. Days every wrinkle on my face dissapeared, my large pores are tiny, my dark circles under my eyes and bags are gone and my favorite result if all, my hanging neck is now tight! I look at least ten years younger!
I love Nerium and will never stop using a product that tightened my neck! Wait until you see what Nerium is coming out with in April!
My Naturopath took the ingredient list to a doctor here in my town who has his PhD in Toxicology.
He gave Nerium the green light and was impressed by all the wonderful ingredients found in one product!

I used this product for over four months and developed a rash on my chin cheeks and neck. To the point of scaring. After reading other blogs I am wondering if my shortness of breath and high blood pressure are related? Never thought it would be something I put on my skin!

Ignorant people make Ignorant claims! Enough said! I bet the person who is posting this has never even tried it!! WOW!! Look old if you want to! If not use the product it works!!!

Reply

I tried Nerium around about 8 months ago. The owner of our gym was selling it and wanted me to try it. I wanted to see how noticible the results really were so i used my regular face products on one side and nerium on the other.
I woke up in the morning and the Nerium half of my face was red and super swollen! I even took pics. I would upload them here if there was a way to do it. It was so embarrassing because I had a meeting w someone that day and had to be out in public. It took most of the day for it to go back down again. I will never put that stuff on my face again.

Reply

I dont appreciate being called ignorant. My face was red and swollen after trying it. The only thing ignorant is someone that refuses to even look in to peoples claims about the health issues that went along w this cream.

Reply

If I could upload pictures of my face I would. Its simply horrifying. After using Nerium for 3 days my face blistered severely. Large, seeping blisters and redness. Went to urgent care and doc said it looked like possible staff infection. That was a month ago. After being treated with antibiotics and cream, they are still there. Saw another doc last Friday and they are baffled. Possible papupustular rosacea? ?! I’ve never had skin issues until Nerium!! Its embarrassing and painful!

Reply

I have been in the skincare industry for over 15 years. You can BET I did my homework on Nerium before putting my name on the line. And I can tell you it is the REAL DEAL!!!! The main ingredient was developed by professors of TOXICOLOGY and researched for over 10 YEARS before bottled for sale as a cosmetic product. So the claim that there is no research over 4 weeks is simply IGNORANT. As for reactions….it is SKINCARE. It is IMPOSSIBLE to make a product that works for 100% of the people. My sister is a hair stylist and has developed an allergy to dye. When it landed her in the hospital with her head 4x’s its normal size, she did NOT join a class action LAWSUIT against the maker of that product.

These lawyers are SNAKES in the GRASS looking to make lots of MONEY from making a MOUNTAIN out of a MOLE HILL. My question is HOW DO YOU SLEEP WELL AS NIGHT??? Lets be CLEAR: The only people who will make out like BANDITS here are these LAWYERS. If you didn’t like the product or it didn’t work for you, just call Nerium. They are a RIGHTEOUS company and will take care of you. But if you are trying to patronize the legal professions then, sure, join this lawsuit. Just don’t be delusional about the intentions here. NUFF SAID.

My son is allergic to Penicillin! I did not sue the Pediatrician for prescribing that for his 1st ear infection. He was 18 months old. Welts cornered his body, he had joint pain so stopped walking, he had tissue swelling so couldn’t even crawl! It took over 2 weeks for the ingredients to leave his body. I have used Nerium 2 1/2 years. Wonderful product! If it doesn’t work for U then don’t use it! My son will NEVER take PEN VK again but he is not trying to get it off the market for YOU, Who penicillin may help I immensely.

I read the comments. Not everyone will have the same reaction to a product. Thus being said Nerium contains an ingredient obtained from the Oleander plant. If you know nothing about the Oleander plant, this plant is very toxic. The entire plant is toxic. I asked a representive how they extract the ingredient from the Oleander plant and she said “we only get it from the pink flowered plant”. She had no idea, which that made me decide to not even try it, if you are going to sell a product learn it. I grow Oleanders and all of them can kill a person. I doubt that this ingredient is really in Nerium.

Reply

I used other products that broke me out to so all products is not for everybody so why post bad stuff about Nerium some medicine works for others but don’t work for you so do you tell everybody that it is not a good medicine

I just tried the product and am amazed with the results. I used another direct marketed skin care line for over 6 years so I really didn’t expect to see any results as a matter of fact I’m very loyal to this brand and tried just because I was doing a favor for a friend. I’m now considering switching. I have had no adverse side effects but my skin feels and looks younger. Im thrilled! I think you have to find what works best for you and try not to be sue happy if something doesn’t work for you!

I had a school mom selling it and I bought a bottle. It was super pricey. I tried it and do not like the way my skin felt at all. I immediately discontinued using it. I was lucky not to have any rash or shortness of breath like others have stated….but could tell it didn’t feel right. Have never put it on my face again.

I have been using Nerium night and daytime cream for 6 months now. I disn’t notice any improvement on my skin discoloration. And recently I started having allergies on my face and neck all the while I thought it’s hives from change of season and the weather. I still been using it coz I bought a lot. I just realized now that the allergies are from Nerium.

Reply

This product has been going on my face twice a day for OVER three years now. No blemishes, no reactions, no allergies, no rashes and no shortness of breath or cardiac issues of any sort!

Reply

this is impossible. No part of the plant touches the skin. Only the extract which is patented and no toxins from the plant ever touch the skin. Do you think ABC would’ve given it out to the audience on the view or the doctor show the same or the Emmy awards or the Oscars, if ithere was any chance of it hurting people. This is totally ludicrous

Reply

Been using the product for 2 weeks and love how it works haven’t had any reactions to the product however I did use oil of olay a month ago and it did give me a terrible rash on my face so I stopped using it as far as cardiac issues and shortness of breath have not experience this.

Reply

I have been using Nerium for 2 years now! I have NOT ONE had any of these issues!!!
The claim was made by one famous person about another famous person and they worked it out already so that claim is old news…. WOW i cant believe people would come up with this stuff!! I have over 100 ppl use nerium and not one ever had a problem like that!! only that they may have broke out the first week do to it being a new product and the impurities coming out of their skin!!

Reply

I used it for 6 months and saw some difference. However those before and after pictures are bogus.

Reply

I find some of these comments humorous and highly, dramatic! LOL! Cardiac issues? Really? I’ve been using Nerium for 8 months and I have had good results and all of my customers who are using it are not having any issues with it. Some people will do anything for a buck and that’s what I see this whole thing as. What a scam and a waste of time.

Reply

I’d like a list of every product that all of you are using on your faces, and I’ll show you a class action lawsuit against those companies and every product they’ve sold. Period. Not every product works on everyone. Not everyone can eat she’ll fish either. Every single cosmetic company has had complaints filed against them. Nerium is gaining huge press because they’re products actually work. Expect many more law suits against them because that’s what happens when a company becomes successful. Apple had their pants practically sued off in the beginning.

As for what Nerium claims it does, it really does. I’ve watched with my own eyes. My 64 year old boyfriend looks 10 years younger in 4 weeks. If there are brand partners stating things outside of what Nerium says it does, then they’re not speaking on behalf of the company. You can’t hold that against Nerium. This is a good and solid company that has world renowned drs, researchers, toxicologists working for them. They’re about to announce their partnership with a major medical university. This company is researching cancer cures. They’re solid.

Let’s talk about pharmaceuticals. Should we take every drug off the market? Or do you think that, in spite of the people who have experienced adverse side effects, including getting cancer and babies born with abnormalities, should continue to be prescribed? Or should we pull drugs like Crestor, Liptor, Tylenol, Prozac, Testosterone, Cynbalta, Zoloft, etc off the market? Because we all know someone who uses some of these and they’re life saving drugs for them. So if Nerium doesn’t work for you and you had an allergic reaction, that sucks, so don’t use it. If you have adverse reactions to drinking milk, don’t drink it. I highly doubt you’ll go online telling the world how you got diarrhea from drinking milk with your morning cereal though.

I’ve been using Nerium for 3 years now. I love it! I’m in the beauty business for 36 years. My client noticed the difference in my skin in the first 3 weeks of using it before I noticed. She asked what kind of skincare I was using. That’s what made me take an after picture. I had amazing results. The company did testing for years with this product and 3rd party clinical trials. It offers a 30 day money back guarantee. Doubt that many companies offer that. You go into a department store and use a whole bottle are you going to get your money back? I don’t think so. Just saying! Someone is always sue happy and trying to make a buck off of someone else because there either jealous or unsuccessful!

I am a licensed professional esthetician. I have many concerns about Nerium. Is this lawsuit moving forward or has it been resolved? My Nerium-selling friend claims the suit is frivolous, but I doubt that is true.

Reply

My concern is the amount of time this product was tested. I know skin care is not regulated but the food and drug administration requires a 10 year test period for consumable products. It absorbs into your skin rapidly so I consider it consumable. It is also made of Oleandar which is poison to livestock. I was told ” It is a safe type of Oleandar”. How can something that is poison for a species to be safe for another!? Answers to these questions would be great. The few women that I know in the industry have known no answers to these questions and just keep saying it is safe….Concerned!

I have tried this product for just a little over a month now. I have noticed a GOOD change in my skin and appearance of less wrinkles.

Not all products are good for all people. this is why there are so many products out there. I for one am loving it!

I ask everyone reading this page to keep an open mind. As we all know; people can (and often do) delude themselves or exaggerate about the things, especially when trying to explain away their own failures in business or any aspect of life. While an adverse reaction to any product is possible, Nerium’s products are as safe as any that can be purchased over-the-counter, yet for many, they deliver far better results. In 2015 Nerium will become the third fastest start-up company in history to reach a billion-dollars in sales (third only to Groupon and Priceline) you simply do not reach that milestone by offering a harmful product. I’ve been using and selling Nerium for two years now and have been very satisfied with the results ON my skin and IN my bank account. Feel free to contact me if you would like to know more. I hope that this lawsuit and the others that will undoubtedly follow, will shut this company down. The product is useless and the ‘get rich or die’ reps are relentlessly annoying.

So I am a Brand partner and have been using the product for little over 6 wis. Recently I had a blood vessel break under my eye. Going to see my Dr whose daughter sold product who had similar broken blood vessels. Anyone else have this happen.

To those researching Nerium as a face cream please be aware of the potential side effects. As with any drug, food or cosmetic there is always the potential for adverse issues. I am not participating in the lawsuit, however, I do feel the Nerium company has a responsibility to inform it’s reps and potential customers of possible side effects. Much like a peanut allergy, not everyone will have issues. My cardiac issues were a direct result of Nerium use. I loved the product and the difference I saw, however, the internal issues, i.e slowed cardiac output, would have had serious consequences had I not been researching the pros and cons of the company. I was going to sell it until I put two and two together. For those who have used it with success great. For those reps who are selling it, all I ask is to be aware if a potential client has a skin reaction, intestinal issue or cardiac issue.

I have been using Nerium for soon 2 years ……I have had nothing but wonderful results and so has my husband…..we look 10 years younger .. …our photos are not photo shopped …do you really think a very significant cancer research biotech company based in Dallas Texas…..with high end medical skin scientists…,skin surgeons….and dermatologists connected to well-know institutions of learning and hospitals …..would really sell a product that would injure people ……….. NO NO NO ……people are always looking to GET $$$$$$ through frivolous law suits and this is one of those such law suits !!!!!!!!!! they also had 3rd PARTY research ST&T RESEARCH INTERNATIONAL preformed all clinical studies and repeated them with Visio Machines 3 different times..the latest scanners were used ..the results unquestionable …you just can not fix stupid people ! We have no issues…this oleander is NOT toxic ! some are.

Reply

I just have one question – this is a topical ointment, so I don’t know how the Nerium oleander can cause cardiac issues; it doesn’t go deep into the layers of the skin, and it’s not injected into the bloodstream? Like any other product, people are advised to do an allergy test under their forearm before trying anything. The hair color industry advises that even long-time users do an allergy test before applying color. I just wonder about the duration of this lawsuit? The company offers a 30-day money back guarantee. Just wondering in this over-zealous sue-happy world we live in, how much time will be expended on suing a company where no one has lost a life, nor have they been maimed for life.

These comments about severe pain and cardiac arrest are so bogus and unbelievably ridiculous. I hear Wal-Mart is hiring. Good luck with your bogus claims!

I and my wife Sharon have used both Nerium products for nearly a year – everyday. I found the products DO live-up to what they predict in advertising. My skin is younger and more vibrant looking. Also I have told my wife many times how the product has given her a better and younger complexion – truly visible by me her husband.

Come-on lawyers give the hard working and creative people in our country a break. Of course, someone will always be allergic to something. But then again, you folks get paid doing this stuff and want a job too. I have a feeling this one is not going to make much money though for you. If I were you I would look elsewhere.

I decided to try nerium and was given the night ad and firm to sample. I started feeling itchy but figure it was drying my skin. Today I was itchy and my throat swelled. I have never been so terrified in my life. The doctors gave me IV, steroids and benedryl. Thankfully the swelling went down. I was advised to stop using the creams. I will be returning the samples and canceling my order.

I agree with Robin Townsend. The reps who hawk this product typically have no esthetics licensing or cosmetic chemistry background. For customers who have reported improvement pertaining to wrinkles, the products ingredients are known to cause dermal inflammation. Inflammation over time is a big contributer to skin aging and skin health issues. As for the ingredient deck, it is crap. Cult sales people, cease and desist. Consumers beware! Seek out a licensed professional. Miracle creams do not exist. Use some common sense and steer clear. Nerium be gone Thank you!

I am a licensed esthetician with 20+ years of experience, and was invited to and attended a few Nerium meetings. I chose not to sign on because their Sales Technique, Product Knowledge, and general attitude. At the meeting the speaker listed peptides and asked if anyone had heard of them before… I was the only one who raised a hand. Later I raised my hand and asked a specific question about the delivery system, and I was literally told that “They do not KNOW OR CARE what is in it or how it works, IT JUST DOES, and there is a lot of MONEY to be made”. When the person who invited me to join found out I was not going to sign on, she came to my house and asked for my used bottles of AM/PM Moisturizers and took them back. I have never seen gratis handled like that before (What are you going to do with it? Give it to the next prospect??). No one at that meeting had the first clue abut skincare, it was pretty gross to me how flagrantly it was All About the MONEY.

I started the night and day in February. The last 29 weeks I have have extreme muscular aches and pains with a dull pain in the middle of my back. Random chest pains I thought were acid and heartburn. Shortness of breath. Fatigue that I blsmed on stress and work. Lately, nothing helps. Sweating but contributed that to menopause. I will stop using Nerium immediately but feel some damage has been done. Hope to feel better soon. Will be going to cardiologist to confirm. Pray nothing else to deal with. This has all been so strange and sudden. I put it on neck, face, hands and, arms. I read about this prior to buying but dismissed it because the before and after pictures were so good. I am concerned.

I am a Registered Nurse and user of these products. Nerium not only did research they also hired third party companies to run clinical trials. Nerium has been published multiple times with the National Insistute of Health (whom only publishes unbiased facts). The bottom line is there’s no skin care, food, supplement, medicine, etc that is 100% for user. People have adverse or allergic reactions to nearly anything you can think of. Being in healthcare I’ve seen it all when it comes to allergies. Just because someone may have an unfortunate reaction doesn’t qualify as a class action lawsuit. Do you think I wanted to sue the pharma companies after getting really sick from a pain medicine? No… I switch medicine.

People bash the “get rich quick” models of direct sales, but what do you think the people who are sue happy are trying to do?

i do not recall a warning or side effects sheet with the Nerium. At least mentioning the toxic plant ingredient. I read the ones with any prescribed medication.

My biggest concern about Nerium is the effect it has on people’s lives. This seems to be a cult that constantly bombards its recruits with so much hype that they will alienate themselves from their friends and loved ones. They are selling the concept of financial freedom, which overshadows the actual results of the product. They play on the emotions of people who want to be successful and make them feel like anyone who does accept this product or business is beneath them. I allowed my wife to get in this business and has begun to interfere with my marriage, which was great until the constant spending of money and time that she puts into being a Brand Partner and has not made any profit since October. Whatever you do, don’t get involved in this brainwashing cult.

Not only has nerium destroyed my skin after 2.5 years of use, I also had terrible heart palpitations during use. I am an SVT sufferer and just thought my SVT was coming back (I had an ablation done in 2002). Now that I’ve stopped using it, I’ve not had any SVT accurances.

I have been a licensed skin care therapist since 1998. I have used everything from Dermalogica to Aveda to Rhonda Allison, PCA, Obagi, Murad…i could list 100 more. I have used Nerium. My results were not stellar or life changing. however you must understand this. there are wrinkles caused by muscular movement. these types of wrinkles can only be “tamed” w/ botox. which paralyzes/relaxes the muscle, making the wrinkle much less noticeable! NO SKIN CARE CREAM CAN PARALyZE A MUSCLE .. that is a fact. so BOTOX is the only answer for wrinkles caused by muscle. other types of wrinkles caused by sun damage can be lessened in appearance with creams. but I am not convinced Nerium is the fountain of youth. I used it for 10 months and no one including mysrlf noticed a big change.. sorry

I have no desire to be a part of a lawsuit, but after reading some of these comments, I may just reconsider. I DID have cardiac issues after applying this product just once! And I couldn’t care less if you think I’m lying. I know what happened. It’s ridiculous to say that it didn’t happen to someone just because it didn’t happen to you! And it’s just plain stupid to call people liars who experienced a bad reaction.

I started as a customer and then signed as a distributor of the product, believing the product’s anti-aging claims. For those who do not believe the damage this product can cause, believe it…the testimonies are true. Within a few weeks of using the Nerium Night cream I developed welts on the lower sides of my face – extreme itching and swelling of the skin below the chin to the throat, down my neck and chest area. The swollen area of my throat was so extreme it left the skin in my throat area hanging and loose. I applied as instructed and was left with damage to these areas that now look like a huge burn. My neck, throat, and chest areas are still sensitive and stiff due to the damage caused by this product. This product is dangerous and a disclaimer showed be used. It is NOT suitable to all skin types. I have REAL before and after pictures of these affected areas of my skin. The allergic reaction I experienced from this product was extreme and embarrassing. I cannot express to you emotionally how this has affected me when people ask me what has happened to my throat, neck, chest area. It may work for some but it does not work for others. I conducted a mini focus group on people that I had try the product and have determined it is a 50/50 chance that you may or may not have a reaction. Why be at risk to something with that type of risk level? Also, many times a possible reaction is not immediately reactive – it may not occur within the first days, months, or years. The overall result could be cumulative; meaning you may not receive a reaction now, however later down the line (months, even years of continued use) a reaction may occur. Please keep that in mind.

I haven’t read anything about this but I am going to ask. I have been using Nerium now for approx 4 day (not long I know) but I am now experiencing bloody diarrhea since day 2 – I am not going to use it again as nothing in my life has changed and yet I have these god awful symptoms – does anyone else have them? I have also notice that my face actually hurts….. I am aware that it is not right for everyone but I am just curious if anyone else has had these symptoms?

Wow all these “distributors” calling the lawyers scammers and saying they would do anything for a buck. That’s about the biggest case of the pot calling the kettle black I’ve ever seen. Wake up ladies, even if the product does work the business model is absurd. Reputable products are sold in stores by manufacturers. This is sold to your friends and family by you, and then you can really make money by getting your friends and family to sell it. But the thing is they don’t have to sell it, and you have to sell a ridiculous amount of bottles a month to make money. The only way you actually make money or get perks is from getting people to sign up under you. My wife “sells” nerium. Its cost me 1000s of dollars now and she has yet to earn 1$ in profit. She won’t cancel because she don’t want to let down her friend who got a Lexus, so your welcome to you greedy bitches who sit by knowing your “friends” are losing money so you can make it.

This is the most absurd, ambulance chasing website there is. I had an so called “professional” send me to this website to have me read the comments. I don’t know if I should be pissed at Nerium for not sueing Downtown LA Law and all of these slanderous posts or be pissed that a professional blogger just wasted my time sending me to an un-credible website of ambulance chasing attorneys. In some ways I find the humor in it all.

For the husband called “Me” you are a dumbass for not supporting your wife. Shut up and let her be a part of something and stop being a baby.

For the rest, quit your bitching. Not all skin care is for everyone. If there was, there wouldn’t be tons of it in the store and so many choices.

Estée Lauder owns 98% of the skin care and hair care market. Go to the store and buy some cheap garbage, age your faces with it and stop being pansies posting on blogs. Next go get an education because you sound like an idiot.

If an Esthetician sent you here, are they credible? To share a blog like this to clients as a professional shows lack of education from the Esthetician. I was also referred her by an Estherician regarding Nerium lawsuits and all I see is information gathering by a bunch of attorneys waiting to make some money of a bunch of people that used a product that wasn’t for them. Please stop wasting your clients time sending them here. Please go get some education as you are making yourself look uneducated by telling your followers to view this as credible. Ignorance is not a bliss sweetheart!

Funny you should say that because no skincare line over the counter should ever produce a reaction and telling your clients that it’s the “impurities” leaving their skin. Are you a state licensed esthetician out dermatologist? You know nothing and saying things like that should leave you liable. If I told my clients things like that I could get sure and that is why I’m required to have insurance. What a joke. You could get the same results from using any skincare line because it’s hydration and nothing more. Take some chem classes before you start talking out your ass.

trynitie … Telling my clients? Do I have clients? Are you a chemist? You sound like another threatened Esthetician. Priceless. I am not a user of Nerium nor an Esthetician, I do however follow an Esthetician that makes her own products, products that are made by another company that she just re labeled to be hers. Who is the fraud now? You are quite cute talking about having insurance and being licensed etc the sweet ladies at Nordstroms are not Esthericians and they offer the wrong skin care and makeup every hour of the day! These claims of a lawsuits are fictitious, you look dumb sending your clients here as a credible resource. Go put that much passion into what you do and maybe you will not have to feel threatened a soccer mom will steal your clients hahaha if you were smart, you would educate your clients on skin health and exfoliation and still keep them as a client.

Have you started using new skin care products? When your skin is introduced to new products, sometimes you might get some initial blemish purging, especially if the products are giving your skin more exfoliation than normal. If it continues on more than two weeks, then they may not be a good fit for your skin.

Skin Tip: When introducing new products to your skin, it’s always recommended to use one product for 3-4 days before adding in a second one. If your skin is reacting negatively, you’ll be able to determine which product you should discontinue. Get products recommended for your skin type.

The product category that allergic skins are most reactive to are products that you would leave on the skin (moisturizer, serum, toner, eye cream) as opposed to a cleanser that you apply and rinse right off. Also, if you are doing a patch test with a product that contains Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid or other AHA’s, it is normal that the skin may be slightly pink but this should usually subside within 10-15 minutes, especially if moisturizer is applied on the skin over it.

What’s the #1 ingredient most likely to cause an allergic reaction? Synthetic fragrance which will be listed as “fragrance”, “parfum” or “perfume” on the back of the packaging.

How to test for possible blemishes or clogged pores: The cheek (close to the nose) or chin area is a good place to test if you’re prone to breakouts. There are a higher amount of oil glands and pores in these areas so the product can penetrate deep into the pore lining. If a product is going to cause breakouts, it’s most often not going to happen after just one use, so you may want to consider testing a small area for 7-10 days if you really want to be cautious.
^^ good info from a blog that will help those not sure about breaking out. Guys, some people are not going to do good with some skin care. I found if I didn’t wash it off it the morning I was a little more irritated, but that’s my fault.
I found a better product for me, doesn’t mean I would sue this company. I wish I could find that blog I used to help me get through some of my skin issues but I hope the info helps. Peace

I have been using NERIUM for 4 years. I have not had any adverse issues. I have had a few clients who have had allergic reactions. I’m highly allergic to the sulfites in wine and MSG in certain food products. Both proven to be extremely harmful to certain unlucky individuals such as myself. Did I sue them? NO!
NERIUM is a wonderful product that has been extensively tested for toxicity. I’m confident it’s safe to use.
Be nice to one another on this site. Not all lawyers are bad. Not all NERIUM reps are bad.
There is an allergic reaction of about 2% across the board to cosmetics in general. There are millions of bottles of NERIUM sold yearly. You do the numbers. Unfortunately some people aren’t going to be able to use it just like hundreds of other products on the market.

Tried Nerium and it did nothing but cause acne and tight leathery feeling skin that was uncomfortable to say the least. My sis-n-law sells it and wanted me to sign up under her. So glad I didn’t! I just couldn’t sell a product that I didn’t believe in! I’m now a R+F consultant and my skin has never felt or looked better! Glad to know I’m not the only one that found Nerium severely lacking compared to their claims!

I’m going to tell you that having a reaction to nerium is not a joke,I had one and didn’t know thats what it was until I bought the firming creme. I was on the trial for one week the night creme. Started using it Wednesday by that Saturday , I was experiencing shortness of breath. I couldn’t afford the product, but the distributor offered me the firming creme . The night I tried it I put on my chest and under arms, in less than a hour I couldn’t breath and my throat felt like it was closing on me and my hands were itching like crazy. They began to get red and swollen. I had no idea what was going on. or what was causing this. I Started taking a allergy pill. It helped with the wheezing , I then tried applying it with gloves, which helped until this morning I woke up having a hard time breathing, got up took a allergy pill. As I started my research on nerium, I realized This is what is causing this. Now I wished it hadn’t been so cause I really wanted to use the product. So Please don’t believe it is a joke, if someone says they had a reaction cause my reaction was real. In all sincerity I hate telling the girl in my group at BNI. We are a referral group; I won’t be able to refer to her and I hate like hell to burst her bubble on her product. The only thing I can say is I had a real reaction!

Referencing Arlene’s comment – it is no joke! This product is dangerous, the cases of allergic reactions are true. I had a severe reaction (posted my first comment on this September 13, 2015 you can read above). My allergic reactions have healed (after an appointment to my dermatologist and prescriptions). Please, please, please know! that there is something not right with this product.

To anyone involved who is having all these issuses where are your pictures to back up your claims? Where are copies of your test results from doctors claiming it’s the Nerium? Not saying you can’t have an alergic reaction, you can have that from any product. This sounds like a firm looking for a few bucks or people from rival companies trying to make another company look bad. How many of you are suing R & F because their products contain sulfur and retina which can also have adverse effects. If you don’t like it don’t use. Asparagus gives me smelly farts and the runs should I sue the farmer. Please people get a life.

I have pictures of the reaction the product caused to my neck and throat area, plus receipts of my visit to my dermatologist and receipts of the medications I had to purchase to heal the reaction. I forwarded the pictures and a detailed report to Nerium company to document what occurred. Also, refer to my previous posts dated 09.13.2015 and 03.21.2016.

I use the product for almost 2 years now and I am in the business. Sounds to me someone is looking for easy money. You want my before and after then check me out on facebook Randy Sweet I am always getting complements on my skin. I breath the same and I feel great. Stop trying to put the company and the product down just cause your business sucked.

I USED NERIUM FOR A SHORT TIME 3 YEARS AGO. IT DID NOTHING GOOD BUT I DEVELOPED PATCHY SCALY SKIN ON MY CHEST AND STOPPED USING IT. AS A RESULT, 3 WEEKS AGO I HAD BLU-U TREATMENT FOR PRE-SKIN CANCER. THE CONDITION GOT WORSE, I DO NOT SIT IN THE SUN, AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY SKIN PROBLEMS EVER AND TURNED 72 WHILE USING THE NERIUM. I HAVE ALWAYS TAKEN CARE OF MY SKIN AND WAS WILLING TO TRY SOMETHING NEW. IT HAS COST ME DEARLY FINANCIALLY, WITH HORRIBLE PAIN, AND HAS RUINED MY SKIN. WE CAN ALL BE TAKEN IN BY SOMETHING THAT PROMISES RESULTS, BUT DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST – I WISH I HAD. NOW I HAVE TO LIVE WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF TREATING SKIN CANCER ON A REGULAR BASIS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.

I think u need to review your facts a little better. There’s two types of oleander. My question to u is which oleander plant does nerium use? Pink or yellow? Which one is the poisoness one? Do some research before posting. I have been using the product for 4 years and did do my research and am very proud of my results.

TERRY, April 2016 post – WAAAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION, and YOU ARE NOT HUMOROUS AT ALL!! How damned nasty of you to post about your relatively graphic PERSONAL info as relates to Asparagus!! WHY WOULD YOU EVEN THINK ANYBODY WOULD BE INTERESTED IN YOUR FOOD LIKES AND YOUR BODILY REACTIONS???? ZERO, ZIP, NADA!!! No class in your expression, whatsoever!! 😡

I tried Nerium 3 years ago for 6 weeks and I thought i was going to die!!! Initially, I had no idea it was the Nerium that was causing my heart condition. Who would’ve thought a friggin skin cream could do this to you??!! But after identifying that the ONLY thing that I had been doing differently was applying this cream, I started doing my research and learned about the cardiac glycosides. I went to cardiologists, wore heart monitors and had all sorts of tests and they couldn’t identify what was happening to. It was truly one of the lowest points of my life, given that I thought I was dying from an undiscovered heart condition at 42!! Thankfully, as soon as I discontinued use, my heart issues went away and I’ve never experienced anything since.

My sister, who is a brand partner, put this shit on my 94yr old mother, and IT ALMOST KILLED HER! IT GAVE HER AN OPEN BLEEDING SORE ON HER FACE, AND HER HEART RATE DROPPED SO LOW, SHE HAD TO HAVE PACE MAKER. YOU PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE IN THIS SHIT ARE IDIOTS.
