Navitas Steel Rolling Chassis Recall Class Action Lawsuit
On August 25, 2022, Navitas Vehicle Systems issued a recall for their steel rolling chassis for utility vehicles, which is used to build personal utility vehicles. According to the recall, recall number 22-206, the throttle pedal can stick in the depressed position, resulting in crash and injury risks. The recall includes about 3,700 units of the product.
The chassis measures approximately four feet wide by seven to nine feet long.

The products were sold at Navitas dealers and distributors around the country from June 2020 to April 2022 for prices ranging from $5,000 and $7,5000.
There have been at least five reports of the throttle pedal getting stuck in the depressed position, which includes two reports of a crash (one of which resulted in minor injuries).
