On August 25, 2025, at approximately 10:52 p.m., both Ontario Police Department and Ontario Fire Department responded to a traffic collision reported at the intersection of East Walnut Street and South Sultana Avenue in Ontario. First responders arrived at the scene of the pick-up truck versus motorcycle incident. The motorcyclist was lodged into the windshield of the pickup truck. Firefighters extricated the motorcyclist and transported them to a local hospital. Reportedly, the driver involved in the collision fled the scene. Neighbors reported that he fled north on Sultana Avenue. The authorities believed that he went to a house located at 501 East Fairfield Court. Officers were searching the area with drones, K9s, and helicopters. The suspect was eventually located hiding in the backyard of a home on the next street over.
Unfortunately, the motorcyclist was declared dead at the hospital.
