Man Arrested after Using Chick-Fil-A Restroom to Record Boys
Breaking News – a Palm Desert man has been arrested after he allegedly recorded multiple boys as they used the restroom at a Palm Desert Chick-Fil-A restaurant. The suspect has been identified as Joseph Seiders, 44. Reportedly, Seiders recorded an 11-year-old boy and other boys on separate days at the business, located on the 73000 block of Dinah Shore Drive in Palm Desert, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
On April 7, the 11-year-old boy reported that a man recorded him on a cell phone. A few days later, on April 9, an employee at the business reported seeing the man again “entering and exiting the restroom with juvenile males.”
Seiders was arrested on April 9. According to the authorities, “evidence was located implicating him in the two reported incidents, along with additional crimes, including possessing child pornography.
He faces multiple charges, which include the following: possession of child pornography, annoying/molesting a child, invasion of privacy, and attempted invasion of privacy. He also faces other charges for disorderly conduct for using a concealed camera and attempted use of a concealed camera.
Investigators believe that there may be additional victims. They are urging anyone with information to reach out to them as soon as possible.
