Rapper DaBaby Reportedly Involved in Shooting Incident in Miami, Florida – Personal Injury Lawyers
According to reports, Rapper DaBaby – Jonathan Lyndale Kirk – was involved in a shooting in the South Beach area. The incident occurred in at approximately 11:30pm on Monday night (May 31, 2021) near the corner of Ocean Drive and First Street. The rapper and his crew were allegedly traveling in six SUVs when a problem arose with another vehicle on the road leading to a fight. At some point, shots were fired. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots.
Upon arriving to the scene, police found to gunshot victims. One of them had a gunshot wound to the shoulder, while the other had a gunshot wound to the leg. Both victims were transported to a trauma center nearby.
Several people were detained due to the incident, including Rapper DaBaby. According to police, all parties detained were detained under the suspicion of being involved in the shooting. Authorities also shut down the MacArthur Causeway while detectives searched for the shooter in the area. It is unclear whether the shooter has been arrested.
