Last Saturday, a drive-in-shooting caused the death of 2 people and other 3 resulted injured, in Yuba City, California.

The event appears to have taken place between 1400 block of Countryside and Littlejohn drives, as The Yuba City Police Department and the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports indicating a shooting at these locations. Reportedly happened approximately at 8:20 p.m.

According to the sheriff’s office, the event involved a vehicle that stopped next to a house, which then proceeded to shoot repeatedly into the front lawn of the aforementioned, place where a party was taking place.

Janice Ray, a neighbor witness, says: “I HEARD SOME SHOTS. IT SOUNDED LIKE FIRECRACKERS. I DID NOT PAY MUCH ATTENTION TO IT. WE ARE ALWAYS HEARING BOOMS AND BANGS”.

Authorities responding to the incident found the bodies of 2 dead, plus 2 injured, who were taken to a nearby hospital to receive the medical attention they needed, according to officials.

Detectives tracking the case are still investigating the reason for the shooting.

Those involved in the case remain unidentified and the authorities have not yet provided the identities of the victims.
