Korimefa Bike Helmet Recall Class Action Lawsuit
There is a recall for medium size Korimefa multi-purpose bike helmets for adults and teens. These helmets do not meet positional stability requirements under federal law. As a result, they may not protect the rider in the event of a crash and put them at risk of a head injury.
The helmets have a head circumference of 21-1/2 to 22-1/2 inches and were sold in blue with black padding, black straps, and a red and black buckle. Helmets that are part of the recall will have the following information on a white label inside the helmet: model number “W-001”, serial number “LDW202103”, and manufacture date “03/2021.” The product was sold between April 2022 and November 2022 for around $24 on Amazon.com.
The manufacturer, Yangxi, has asked consumers to stop using the helmet immediately and contact them for a refund of the purchase price. For more information on this recall, including instructions on how to obtain a refund, click here.
Of course, there is no way that a refund will make up for any injuries due to an accident, which is why we are here to help you explore the option of filing a lawsuit. For a free case review with a negligent manufacturer accident lawyer, contact our office today.
