Plane Crash Chino Airport Hanger: 6-13-12
According to news reports from local Southern California media a plane crashed into a hanger at the Chino Airport on Thursday June 13th. There are no reports of injuries; however emergency respond crew from the Ontario and San Bernardino county fire department responded to the accident location. The airplane involved in the accident was a small non-commercial passenger jet.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the agency charged with the investigation of aviation related accidents across the country the jet was being taxied on the runway when the pilot lost control ramming into the Encore Jet Center as the airport. There were immediate concerns with a fuel leak resulting from the accident, prompting officials at the airport shut of electricity in the vicinity. According to the Los Angles Times, the aircraft is registered to Grady International Inc. in Irvine.
