Helicopter Crash Roosevelt Lake Gila County Arizona
According to Gila County law enforcement officials a helicopter crashed into Roosevelt Lake around 3 O’clock in the afternoon Friday. According to news and media reports all three individuals, two men and a woman, on board the aircraft at the time of the accident have been rescued. The rescuers have been identified as locals fishing on boats at the time of the incident. Teams from the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) and the NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) is on pursuit to the scene of the helicopter accident to investigate. As of yet there is no word on what caused the helicopter crash. Theodore Roosevelt Lake is an artificial lake created by the construction of the Theodore Roosevelt Dam in 1911.
