An 11-year-old boy was struck by a pickup truck as he crossed the street in n intersection near his Montclair middle school. The man drove a large Chevrolet pick up truck; he may have run the boy over, so quick was the accident, but he did immediately stop and help, and began to cooperate with officers who arrived.
