Pot Bust in Los Angeles nets $3 Million Dollars in marijuana

Lake Los Angeles a small community of 13,000 close to the larger cities of Palmdale and Lancaster in LA County was the scene of  a massive operation by law enforcement to seize illicit drugs and arrest perpetrators.  According to authorities the large scale industrial growing operation contained over 1,000 marijuana plants with an estimated street values of over $3,000,000. This find comes a few short months after the discovery of another massive marijuana growing operation six miles away from this operation.  One suspect arrested was Abdul Jamar aged 36; he has been subsequently charged with cultivation of  marijuana.
