According to the police department police officers were called to respond to a shooting that had taken place in a local bar called the Dirty Bird Lounge. The shooter fled the scene of the bar shootout in a Buick Cadillac. The injured patron of the bar suffered non-fatal gunshot sounds and treated at a local hospital. The suspect shooter was killed in the incident. No police officers, or law enforcement official was injured in the incident.  The three police officers involved in the shooting incident have been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation into the meeting. Liability for Bar Nightclub Shooting:  Though California does not have drum laws under California Premises liability bar owners and nightclubs must provide a safe environment free of perceived dangers. This may include proving reasonable security measures to prevent acts of violence by bar patrons.
