An 8-year-old boy was injured after being hit by a foul ball during a game at Dodger Stadium between the Dodgers and the Reds. According to reports, Dodgers shortstop Mookie Betts hit a foul ball into the crowd behind the home plate in the fourth inning; the ball hit the boy, who has been identified as Nathan Sanchez, in the right eye. The boy and his family were sitting mid-level between the home plate and first base when the incident occurred.<\/p>\n

Stadium security and medical personnel quickly arrived to the seating section to check up on the boy. Shortly after, Nathan and his family were cleared to return to their seats. Staff gave the boy stickers and a button; someone from the crowd got the baseball that hit him and gave it to the boy. However, the boy\u2019s parents expected more, \u201cat least a signature\u201d on the baseball that hit him, they stated.<\/p>\n
