Police Chase Santa Ana – Pedestrian Killed – Shooting 5-30-13

In a tragic turn of event a police chase in the Orange County city of Santa Ana resulted in the death of a pedestrian. According to investigators and news reports gathered from local media the pedestrian was struck and killed by the suspect as he was being chased by the Santa Ana police department. The chase began on the 1000 block of West Central Avenue and ended after only one lime at the corner of Flower Street and MacArthur Boulevard. See map here for exact coordinates of the accident location. The case ended around 12:10 p.m. The pedestrian died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the vehicle and passengers attempted to flee the scene of the devastating accident resulting in a police pursuit involving Santa Ana police department officers. A total of three suspects have been arrested. One was found by a police dog, one was tazered. A fourth suspect was shot by a police officers, and his condition is unknown. Police have yet to release information as to why the suspects fled.
