Rick Allen Walker Arrested In Multi Car Accident on14 Freeway
According to investigators from the California Highway Patrol Rick Allen Walker, 54 form Canyon County was arrested for suspicion of driving while under the influence of methamphetamine’s at the time of the multi car accident. He is being held on $100,000 dollars bail. According to CHP officers the suspect was driving the wrong way in the 14 freeway at speeds on excess of 85 miles per hour. Some of the victims sustained critical injuries were transported to local area hospitals including airlifts to Antelope Valley Hospital. The suspect also sustained injuries and transported to hospital before being booked by law enforcement officials a few hours later.
According to one witness at the site of the chain reaction accident who spoke to local new media, “he just past by us, flying maybe two feet from us, so we almost got hit and then we just saw the crash.”
