Pomona Bicyclist Hit and Killed by Driver 4-8-13

Early Monday morning a bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle on the intersection of Velley Boulevard and Dupont Street. The bicycle accident took place just a few minutes after midnight. According to investigators at the scene of the tragic fatality and various new reports the incident was initially identified by local law enforcement authorizes as a hit and run accident. However this was not the case; the motorist driving the vehicle, William Johnson did in fact contact local authorities after the incident had take place.
