Sami Sedghani, PharmD/JD, is the founder of Synergist Law, P.C. and Of Counsel at Downtown LA Law Group. Mr. Sedghani is a nationally-recognized, award-winning litigation attorney who represents plaintiffs in personal injury actions in California and across the nation. A skilled negotiator and trial attorney, Mr. Sedghani has built a reputation for litigation excellence over the last decade-plus, litigating multi-million dollar cases against fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Sedghani began his career litigating high profile cases at the international law firms of Latham & Watkins LLP, and McDermott Will & Emery, which have been consistently recognized as the top law firms in the world. As a litigation attorney with over ten years of experience representing some of the largest companies in the United States, Mr. Sedghani has a deep understanding of how large companies litigate cases and has expertise to defeat them in court.
Mr. Sedghani uses his medical training and litigation experience in representing clients involved in all catastrophic injuries and specializes in product liability, premises liability and medical negligence matters. Mr. Sedghani graduated U.C. Hastings Law School magna cum laude (top 10% of his class) and was admitted to the Order of the Coif for high attainment in the study of law and the Thurston Society for academic excellence in the study of law.
Mr. Sedghani earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California San Francisco and co-authored the seventh edition of California Pharmacy Law which is a textbook that deals with the myriad of regulatory laws affecting the practice of pharmacy in the state of California.
